With an Emulation model, we can create a virtual replica of an entire automated system. By building up custom components to accurately mimic the real equipment, we can provide a testbed for the PLC code long before the site is ready for commissioning. The emulation model can interface with multiple soft-PLCs as well as high level controls (SAC/WCS/MES), SCADA, and HMIs.

Data can be collected to assess the performance of the system, and any bugs fed back to the PLC code developer to be fixed and re-tested. This iterative process can significantly advance the state of the PLC code before on-site commissioning, reducing time, risk, and cost on site.
